No need for a job offer as a condition of application
For highly qualified individuals who do not yet have a job offer, Sweden offers a Job Seeker Visa. This permit allows you to enter Sweden for up to six months to actively search for employment and attend interviews.
Most countries require a job before you can get a visa. Sweden has made it easier. The Sweden Job Seeker Visa (also called the Job Seeker and Business Exploration Residence Permit) lets you come into the country, find employers, get interviews, and get a job whilst residing legally in Sweden for a period of up to 9 months.
No job offer. No employer sponsorship. No waiting.
Immigrow Visas is here to help professional graduates and skilled workers go through the whole journey of obtaining a residence permit legally so that your focus would solely be on building up your career in Sweden.
The Job Seeker Visa scheme in Sweden was presented in April 2022 and is a residence visa for highly educated workers and postgraduates who are interested in checking out the working or entrepreneurial opportunities in Sweden but haven't gotten a job yet. Sweden is the 4th country in Europe - along with Germany, Austria and Portugal - to introduce such a visa.
While most work-related immigration options require the employer to take the lead, this permit gives you the freedom to do everything on your own. You come over, you make connections, you do interviews, and once you get a suitable job, you easily shift to a Swedish work permit and start living your life there.
The residence permit is valid for a minimum of three months and a maximum of nine months. If you have obtained the residence permit for more than three months, you will receive a biometric Residence Card from Swedish authorities confirming your right to stay legally in Sweden during your job search period.
